Not Routinely Funded

The Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) do not routinely commission or fund this therapy for the following conditions:

• Plantar fasciitis
• Refractory Achilles tendinopathy
• Refractory tennis elbow
• Calcific tendonitis (tendinopathy) of the shoulder

This intervention has been assessed as Low Clinical Priority by the Norfolk and Waveney ICB and will not be funded unless there are exceptional clinical circumstances.

Cases for Individual Funding Consideration

On a case to case basis, patients might be eligible for this intervention, in consideration of their exceptionality. The requesting clinician must provide information to support the case for being considered an exception, by submitting an individual funding request.
